About us
Cinny aims at implementing a Community Platform dedicated to digital education in the territory of Bologna. The platform will provide digital education services, designed on the basis of the needs emerging among the city’s educational community.
The project foresees a process of co-designing the Community Platform in order to:
- aggregate a community interested in the topic;
- identify the services that can be implemented on the platform;
- define participatory governance (community members are owners, managers and customers of the platform).
What is community platform?
An ecosystem that inspired by cooperative enterprises, platform and community principles and models, manages to involve and protect users, workers and local communities in a new model of digital cooperation.
We are the first ViCooPlatform project and we are building our community through innovative tools such as platform design, design thinking and community organising.

On-life platform
Cinny is designed for interaction both online, through the digital platform, and offline, with meetings and events organised in the city.
A participative process
Through the participative process, the community enters into relations, expresses its needs and defines the services that can be implemented on the digital platform.
Owned by the community
The Community Platform is the cooperative digital platform, an ethical and sustainable alternative to extractive digital platforms.
Digital education is the tool through which we can create community welfare, stimulate young people to innovation and inclusion, ensure a fairer future and achieve some important Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda (SDGs).
